Chocolate Orange Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 None eggs, at room temperature
2/3 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease and line the bottom of an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
Sift flours and 1/2 cup of the cocoa powder into a medium bowl. Beat 1 1/2 sticks butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating lightly after each addition. Stir in flour mixture, then buttermilk, until just combined. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 1 hour 5 mins or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Using a large serrated knife, cut cake horizontally into 3 equal layers. Sandwich layers with marmalade. Transfer cake to a serving plate.
For the frosting, sift powdered sugar and remaining 1/2 cup cocoa powder into a bowl. Add milk and remaining 1 stick butter. Beat with an electric mixer until thick and creamy. Spread frosting on top and sides of cake.
