Apricot Tarte Tatin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 lb frozen puff pastry, defrosted
    3/4 cup powdered sugar
    7 tbsp butter
    10 None apricots, pitted and thickly sliced
Preparation
    Roll the puff pastry into a 10 inch circle. Chill.
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Heat the powdered sugar, 5 tbsp water and the butter in a 9 1/2 inch oven-proof frying pan for 2-3 mins, until golden and caramelized. Remove from the heat. Place the apricot slices cut-side down, overlapping slightly, in the caramel. Place the puff pastry on top of the apricots and gently press down. Bake for 25-30 mins. Allow to cool for 10 mins then gently invert onto a serving plate or platter.
