Asparagus And Rice Broth - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp butter
    1 None onion, finely sliced
    1/2 cup arborio rice
    4 cups chicken stock
    1 1/2 lbs asparagus, cut into 1-inch lengths
    2 tbsp heavy cream
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large saucepan on medium heat. Add onion and cook for 2 mins, stirring, until softened. Add rice and stir until well coated.
    Add stock and 2 cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 mins, until rice is tender. Add asparagus and season to taste. Cook for 2 mins, until tender.
    Stir in cream. Serve soup sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
