Beef Diane - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
2 1/4 lb beef chuck steak, cut into 1 inch pieces
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 None medium onion, finely chopped
1 (15 oz) can whole tomatoes
1/2 cup beef stock
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp fresh parsley leaves, coarsely chopped, plus extra chopped parsley to garnish
1 tbsp brandy
Preparation

Heat oil in large saucepan. Working in batches, saute beef until browned. Add garlic and onion. Cook, stirring, until onion is soft. Add tomatoes, stock and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour 30 mins, until beef is tender.
Add heavy cream, parsley and brandy. Simmer, uncovered, for about 5 mins, or until thickened slightly.
Serve with pasta, sprinkled with extra chopped parsley.
