Toasted Chicken Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf (1 lb) crusty sourdough bread
    1/4 cup mayonnaise
    1/3 cup store-bought basil pesto
    1 head baby Romaine lettuce, trimmed, leaves torn
    2 medium tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
    12 oz roasted or rotisserie chicken breast, skin removed, shredded
    None None Oven-baked french fries, to serve
Preparation
    Cut bread into eight 3/4 inch-thick slices; toast. Spread toast with combined mayonnaise and pesto.
    Top 4 of the slices of toast with lettuce, tomato, onion and chicken. Top with the remaining slices of toast. Serve with oven-baked fries.
