Broiled Mushrooms With Hazelnut Gremolata - cooking recipe

8 medium portobello, stems trimmed
2 cloves garlic, 1 thinly sliced and 1 crushed
2 tsp plus 2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup hazelnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
1/2 cup coarsely chopped parsley
2 tsp finely grated lemon peel
Preparation

Preheat the broiler to high. Place mushrooms on a baking pan, stem-side up. Top mushrooms with sliced garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with 2 tsp olive oil. Broil 3 mins or until just cooked.
For the gremolata, mix the hazelnuts, crushed garlic, parsley, lemon peel and 2 tbsp oil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange mushrooms on a serving platter. Serve topped with the gremolata.
