Beef Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp canola oil
    1 inch ginger, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 lb ground beef
    2 tsp curry powder
    1/2 None chinese cabbage, finely shredded
    1/4 lb green beans, trimmed and chopped
    1 None carrot. peeled and cut into matchsticks
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    1 - 7 oz can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 cup chicken stock
    1/4 cup oyster sauce
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 None long red chili, deseeded and chopped
    1 tsp sesame oil
    14 oz rice noodles, soaked and drained
    1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
    1 oz crushed peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Add onion, ginger and garlic and stir-fry for 1-2 mins until onion is tender. Add ground beef and curry powder and cook for 4-5 mins, until browned. Add vegetables, water chestnuts, stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce, red chili and sesame oil. Stir-fry for 1-2 mins until cabbage begins to wilt and vegetables are tender. Add noodles and cilantro and stir-fry for 1 min. Serve sprinkled with peanuts, if using.
