Mud Cake Hearts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter
9 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup self-rising flour
1 None egg
None None Paper hearts
None None Unsweetened ocoa powder, powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0F. Grease and line a 13 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, extending paper above long sides for handles.
Place butter, chocolate, brown sugar and 3/4 cup water in a medium saucepan. Stir on low heat until melted. Transfer to large bowl; cool 10 mins.
Add flours and egg to chocolate mixture; whisk until smooth. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake about 20 mins. Cool completely in pan.
Turn cake onto board; remove parchment paper. Using a 2-inch heart cutter, cut heart shapes from cake. Place paper hearts in center of cakes. Dust half the cakes with sifted cocoa powder and half with sifted powdered sugar. Carefully remove paper hearts.
