Roasted Pears With Honey And Cinnamon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None firm ripe pears, cored, halved
    1 None lemon, peel removed in strips
    2 None cinnamon sticks
    1/2 cup honey
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    None None low-fat vanilla yogurt or ice cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a roasting pan with parchment paper. Arrange pears in a single layer in prepared dish, cut side down. Scatter lemon peel and cinnamon over top.
    Combine 3/4 cup water, honey and sugar, stirring to dissolve then pour over pears. Cover tightly with foil and bake 15-20 mins. Remove foil and turn pears over. Bake, uncovered, for 15-20 mins, basting with syrup, until just tender. Serve with yogurt or ice-cream.
