Beef And Vegetable Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup jasmine rice
    3 tbsp vegetable oil
    8 oz beef strips for stir-fry
    1 None onion, sliced
    1 None garlic clove, finely chopped
    11 oz frozen French-cut beans, thawed
    3 None carrots, cut into thin strips
    1 can (4 oz) sliced bamboo shoots, drained
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp tomato ketchup
    1 tsp cornstarch
    1/2 tsp sambal oelek (ground chili paste)
    1/2 cup cashew nuts, toasted
    None None Chopped cilantro, for garnish
Preparation
    Cook the rice according to the package directions.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok on medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir fry for 2 mins. Remove from the skillet. Add the onion, garlic, beans, carrots and bamboo shoots and stir fry for 4 mins.
    Mix the soy sauce, ketchup, cornstarch, sambal oelek and 1/2 cup water. Add to the skillet and cook for 1 min or until thickened. Add the beef and cashews and stir fry until heated through. Serve over the rice. Garnish with cilantro.
