Ham And Asparagus Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    800 g asparagus, woody ends snapped off
    1/2 None lemon, juiced
    1 tbsp butter
    4 slices cooked ham
    150 g cream cheese with herbs
    270 g ready-rolled puff pastry, cut into 4 equal squares
    1 None egg yolk
    2 tbsp semi-skimmed milk
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cook the asparagus, lemon juice and butter in boiling salted water for 3-5 mins, until tender. Drain and refresh with cold water. Allow to cool.
    Spread the ham slices with the cream cheese. Place a slice of ham on each puff pastry square and top each with 1/4 of the asparagus. Beat the egg yolk and milk together and brush around the pastry edges. Roll up and press the edges together. Bake for 30-35 mins, until puffed and golden.
