Chocolate Hedgehog Bars - cooking recipe

6 oz dark chocolate, chopped coarsely
9 tbsp unsalted butter, chopped coarsely
2 oz Cocoa Puffs or other chocolate cereal
4 oz slivered almonds
3 oz raisins
3 oz red candied cherries, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup cocoa powder, plus extra, for dusting
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 None large egg, lightly beaten
Preparation

Grease an 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Line base and long sides with parchment paper, extending it 2 inches above sides. For the batter, add chocolate and butter to a large saucepan and stir over low heat 2-4 mins, until smooth. Cool 5 mins. Stir in remaining ingredients and spread in prepared dish. Refrigerate 3 hours, or until firm. Dust with extra cocoa powder, cut into squares and serve.
