Chicken Sausage Rolls - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lbs ground chicken
1/2 None lemon, grated zest
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tsp thyme, chopped
2 sheets pie pastry, halved
1 None large egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp sesame seeds
None None Tomato sauce, to serve
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, lemon zest and herbs. Season to taste.
Place 1/4 of chicken mixture on long edge of each pastry piece. Lightly brush pastry edges with water. Fold pastry over chicken to form a roll. Press edges to seal.
Cut each roll in half. Place on prepared tray, brush lightly with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 20-25 mins, until golden and cooked through. Serve hot or cold with tomato sauce.
