Prawns And Scallops In Creamy Garlic Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 tbsp butter
    1 tbsp oil
    2 tbsp chili sauce
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp medium curry powder
    1/2 tbsp lemon juice
    1 1/4 cups heavy cream
    1 lb large raw prawns, peeled, deveined, tails intact
    10.5 oz scallops, cleaned
    1 tbsp fresh chives, snipped
    None None toasted bread, to serve
    None None lemon wedges, to serve
Preparation
    In a large frying pan, heat butter and oil. Add chili sauce, garlic and curry powder. Cook, stirring, for 1 min. Add lemon juice and simmer, stirring, for 1 min. Stir in cream. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 4-5 mins, until thickened.
    Add prawns and scallops and cook, stirring, for 3-4 mins, until prawns are pink. Season to taste. Add chives. Serve on toast with lemon wedges.
