Marble Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter, softened
    1/3 cup granulated sugar
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    4 None eggs
    3 1/4 cups self-rising flour
    1/2 cup milk, at room temperature
    1 tbsp cocoa powder, sifted
    2-3 drops pink food coloring
    None None FOR THE BUTTERCREAM
    1 cup butter, softened
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 tbsp cocoa powder, sifted
    7 oz milk chocolate, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Lightly coat a 9 inch cake pan with oil and line with parchment paper.
    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until pale and creamy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Add flour and milk and stir until just combined. Divide evenly between 3 bowls. Add cocoa powder to 1 bowl, pink food coloring to another bowl and leave remaining bowl plain. Spoon mixture into prepared pan alternating colors then stir with skewer to create marble effect. Tap pan on work surface to settle mixture. Bake for 45 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
    Meanwhile, to make the buttercream, beat butter, sugar, vanilla and cocoa powder together until pale and fluffy. Slowly drizzle in chocolate and mix until combined. Spread over top and sides of cake.
