Cauliflower, Dill And Cumin Fritters - cooking recipe

1 cup self-rising flour
1/3 cup chickpea (besan) flour
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp fresh dill, coarsely chopped
1 None large egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 lb cauliflower, cut into florets then 1/3 inch thick slices
None None vegetable oil, for deep-frying
Preparation

Combine flour, spices, salt and dill in a medium bowl. Make a well in the center and mix in egg and enough water to make a smooth batter (around 1 1/3 cups). Cover and let stand for 10 mins.
Heat oil in a large saucepan to 350\u00b0F. Working in batches, dip cauliflower in batter, letting excess batter drain off. Fry for 2 mins, or until golden. Drain on paper towels.
