Honey Mustard Roast Chicken - cooking recipe

1/4 cup honey Dijon dressing
2 tbsp grainy mustard
1 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp minced fresh thyme leaves
1 (5 lb) whole chicken
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Combine dressing, mustard, garlic salt and thyme.
Place chicken on a rack in a roasting pan. Add 2 cups water to pan. Brush chicken with 1/2 the dressing mixture and roast for 1 hour 30 mins, or until temperature reads 175\u00b0F in center of thigh.
Skim fat from pan juices. Add reserved dressing mixture. Place pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Serve with chicken.
