Chicken And Mushroom Party Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb ground chicken
4 oz button mushrooms, finely chopped
2 tsp flour
3/4 cup light cream
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
3 None refrigerated pie crusts
1 None egg, lightly beaten
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
2 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation

Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic, stirring, for 5 mins or until the onion softens.
Add the chicken and mushrooms and cook, stirring, until the chicken is cooked through. Add the flour and cook, stirring, for 1 min.
Gradually stir in the cream and cook, stirring, until the mixture boils and thickens. Stir in the chives and cool.
Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Oil two 12-cup mini tart pans
Cut twenty four 2 3/4-inch rounds from the pie crusts and press into the tart pan. Brush the edges with a little of the egg.
Spoon the chicken mixture into the crusts. Cut twenty four 2 1/4-inch rounds from the puff pastry and top the pies with puff pastry lids. Press the edges firmly to seal. Brush the tops with the remaining egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cut a small slit in top of each pie.
Bake the pies for 20 mins or until lightly browned. Cool in the pan for 5 mins before serving.
