Gnocchi With Smoked Paprika Beef And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
    1 None onion, cut into thin wedges
    5 oz button mushrooms, quartered
    1 None red pepper, seeded and cut into strips
    1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
    1 tsp smoked paprika
    14 oz gnocchi
    None None Crusty bread, to serve
Preparation
    Heat a large skillet on high heat. Spray with no stick cooking spray. Saute beef in batches for 2 mins, until browned. Remove from pan and cover to keep warm. Reduce heat to medium.
    Add onion to pan. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins, until softened and golden. Add mushrooms and pepper. Cook for 5 mins, until just tender.
    Stir in tomatoes and paprika. When bubbling, reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 mins, until sauce thickens. Stir in beef. Season.
    Meanwhile, cook gnocchi in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain. Toss gnocchi with beef mixture and serve with crusty bread.
