Ingredients

4 tbsp butter, softened
1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 None lemon, zested
2 None eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup almonds
3 tbsp dessert wine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cream butter and sugar. Add lemon zest, eggs and a pinch of salt. Fold in flour, baking powder, almonds and wine and knead until smooth. Divide into 3 pieces and roll each into an 8x2 inch rectangle, transfer to prepared pan and bake for 20 mins.
Remove from oven and cut each into 14 pieces. Separate pieces and bake for another 8 mins. Remove and allow to cool on a wire rack.
