Chocolate And Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    200 g desiccated coconut
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    450 g caster sugar
    400 g plain flour
    10 None eggs
    300 g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
    250 g butter
    1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease a 15 x 12 inch baking pan and sprinkle with flour. In a bowl, beat the coconut, vanilla extract, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour and 3 eggs. Spoon into a decorating bag fitted with a large, plain tip.
    In a saucepan set over a low heat, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring. Transfer to a large bowl, add the remaining eggs and beat with a hand mixer. Add the baking powder, remaining sugar and flour and a pinch of salt and mix to a smooth batter. Spoon into the baking pan and smooth out.
    Pipe tufts of the coconut mixture at even intervals into the batter. Bake for 25 mins, until a skewer comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
