Chicken Tikka Kebabs With Spicy Yogurt - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 2/3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 None onions, cut into wedges
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup heavy cream
Preparation

Combine chicken, yogurt, 1 tbsp of the lemon juice, spices and garlic in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Heat a grill pan on high heat or preheat the grill to medium-high. Thread chicken and onion alternately onto 12 metal skewers, reserving marinade; season. Cook kebabs 2-3 mins on each side until cooked through.
Meanwhile, bring reserved marinade to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat to low. Add tomato paste, cream and remaining 1 tbsp lemon juice. Simmer, uncovered, until sauce thickens slightly. Season to taste. Serve kebabs with yogurt sauce.
