Pan-Fried Chicken With Savoy Cabbage And Penne Pasta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tbsp oil
1 1/4 lb chicken breasts, sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 None medium onions, diced
1/2 head savoy cabbage (about 1 2/3 lb) , shredded
2 cups chicken stock
11 oz penne pasta
1/2 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
None None fresh parsley, to garnish
Preparation

Heat oil in a large pan and sear the chicken, turning until golden brown. Remove from the pan and season. Add the butter to the pan and saute the onions for about 2 mins. Add the cabbage, season and saute for 2-3 mins. Pour in the stock and simmer, covered, for 15 mins.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta then add to the cabbage along with the chicken. Mix well, heat again and season to taste. Add the creme fraiche (or sour cream, if using), stir thoroughly and sprinkle with pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve.
