Chicken Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 cup long-grain rice
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb chicken breasts
2 oz ham, cut into strips
1/2 cup red pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1/2 cup leek, cut into rings
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp red chilli paste (Sambal oelek)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 pinch curry powder
Preparation

Cook the rice in boiling salted water for about 20 mins until done.
Heat the oil in a nonstick pan. Fry the chicken and remove. Cook the peppers, leeks and mushrooms in the hot oil and fry them well. Add the chicken and ham. Drain the rice and fold it into the pan. Fry it all together briefly and add 2 tbsp of water. Stir in a little red chili paste, soy sauce and curry powder to taste and serve.
