Layered Cheese Terrine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
    1 bunch chives, finely chopped
4 oz Sun dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped
1 3/4 lbs cream cheese, at room temperature
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    8 oz Gouda, thinly sliced
12 None cherry tomatoes, paprika, to garnish
Preparation
Toast chopped walnuts in a dry skillet for 2 mins and let cool. Divide cream cheese into two bowls. Stir chives and walnuts into one half and sun dried tomatoes and tomato paste into the other half. Season both bowls.
Line an 8 cup loaf pan with plastic wrap so it overlaps the sides. Arrange half of Gouda slices in base of the pan so they are slightly overlapping. Spoon the chive and walnut cream cheese on top of the Gouda and press into place. Cover with several more Gouda slices and then a layer of the tomato cream cheese. Finish with remaining Gouda slices. Cover over with the plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours.
Fold back the top layer of plastic wrap and turn the terrine out onto a large serving platter. Remove the remaining plastic wrap. Garnish with paprika, halved cherry tomatoes and remaining chives. Serve with fresh crusty bread.
