Brown Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup medium-grain brown rice
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 None eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 medium carrot, finely chopped
1 medium red pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
3 oz ham, sliced
3 None green onions, thinly sliced
2 cups bean sprouts, rinsed
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
Preparation

Cook rice in a large saucepan of boiling water for 30 mins or until tender. Drain.
Heat a wok or large skillet on medium-high heat. Add half the oil; swirl to coat surface. Add egg; cook and stir for 1-2 mins, gently scrambling. Transfer to a heatproof bowl.
Add remaining oil and sesame oil to wok. Stir-fry garlic, onion, carrot and pepper for 2-3 mins or until soft. Add rice, peas, ham, onion, sprouts and soy sauce; stir-fry until heated through. Add egg; toss to combine. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
