Apple And Raspberry Crumble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    None None FOR THE CRUMBLE TOPPING
    1 cup self-rising flour
    12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter, chopped
    1 cup demerara sugar
    2/3 cup rolled oats
    None None FOR THE FRUIT
    3 tbsp butter
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    5 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1 1/4 cups raspberries
    None None Custard or vanilla ice cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
    For the crumble, sift flour into a bowl. Using fingertips, rub in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in demerara sugar and rolled oats.
    For the fruit, combine butter and granulated sugar in a medium saucepan on low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. When bubbling, add apples. Stir until apples are well coated. Cook 8-10 mins, until apples are tender and golden brown. Spoon into prepared dish. Sprinkle with berries. Sprinkle crumble evenly over fruit.mixture.
    Bake 30-35 mins, until golden. Serve warm, with custard or vanilla ice cream.
