Chunky Beef, Bean And Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp olive oil
    3/4 lb beef chuck steak, cubed
    1 None onion, finely chopped
    2 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    4 cups beef stock or water
    1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
    1/2 tsp dried oregano
    1 bunch broccoli, cut into florets
    1 can (15 oz) butter beans, rinsed and drained
    None None Basil leaves, to serve
    None None Grated Parmesan cheese, to serve
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a large saucepan on high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring, 2-3 mins or until browned. Remove from pan.
    Add onion and bacon to the pan and saute 2-3 mins. Add garlic and saute 1 min. Return beef to the pan. Add stock, tomatoes and oregano and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 hour or until beef is tender.
    Add broccoli and beans to the pan. Simmer 4-5 mins or until broccoli is tender. Season to taste. Sprinkle with basil and Parmesan cheese.
