Ingredients
-
3 tbsp mild olive oil
1 None onion, chopped
1 None garlic clove, crushed
400 g can chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp caster sugar
3 None spring onions, finely sliced
300 g white cabbage, finely shredded
400 g ready made pizza dough
2 None tomatoes, thinly sliced
100 g Emmenthal cheese, grated
6 slices prosciutto ham
Preparation
-
Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a saucepan and saute the onion and garlic until soft, about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and sugar and season with salt and pepper. Cook gently for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Heat the remaining oil in a skillet and saute two-thirds of the spring onions and the cabbage for 3-4 minutes to soften.
Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to approximately 16 x 9 inches. Transfer to the baking sheet.
Spread the pizza dough with the tomato sauce. Arrange the cabbage and tomatoes on top. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Cut into 12 pieces and top each with half a slice of prosciutto. Sprinkle with the remaining spring onions to serve.
