Honey, Cinnamon And Brown Butter Breakfast Bars - cooking recipe

8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter
4 cups puffed millet cereal
1/2 cup rice flour
1 cup flaked coconut
1 can dried apple pieces, coarsely chopped
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup honey
2 None eggs
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Line a 12 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan on medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer until browned with a nutty fragrance. Set aside to cool.
Mix the puffed millet, rice flour, shredded coconut, apple pieces and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Once the butter has cooled, whisk in the honey and eggs. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Spoon into the prepared pan, pressing down evenly.
Bake for 20-25 mins or until golden on top. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
