Potato Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
1 None bay leaf
2 1/2 - 3 lb small baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/8 inch-thick slices
None None fresh chives, to garnish
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Butter a 2 quart circular baking dish.
In a large frying pan, combine heavy cream, broth, garlic, thyme and bay leaves over medium heat. Simmer for 15 mins. Season. Add potatoes to pan and simmer until potatoes are translucent and liquid thickens. Arrange potatoes in baking dish then pour cream mixture over top. Bake for 30-40 mins, or until golden brown. Garnish with chives.
