Beet Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 None onion, chopped
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    1 pinch ground cinnamon
    1 pinch ground cloves
    1 can (15 oz) whole beets, drained and chopped
    1/4 cup raisins
    2 tbsp chopped parsley
Preparation
    Place 1/2 cup water, onion, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves in a large saucepan on medium heat. Cook for 4-5 mins, until onion is tender.
    Add beets and raisins. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 15-20 mins, until thickened slightly. Stir in parsley. Cool completely.
