Hawaiian Toast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 tbsp oil
4 None pork steaks (about 120g each)
200 g carrots, halved lengthways and thinly sliced
300 g apricots, pitted and diced
75 g almonds, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp apricot jam
4 thick slices white bread
150 g gouda, grated
4 stalks parsley, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Heat oil in a pan and sear pork for about 2 mins per side. Season then set aside. Add carrots and cook for 3 mins. Add apricots and almonds and cook for another 3 mins. Season then add jam and remove from heat.
Place bread on a lined baking sheet. Top with pork and apricot mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for about 15 mins. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
