Chocolate Tart With Cranberries And Nuts - cooking recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 None egg
2/3 cup butter, 1/2 cup diced and chilled
1 1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 lb dark chocolate
2/3 cup dried cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup cashews, coarsely chopped and toasted
1/2 cup hazelnuts, coarsely chopped and toasted
Preparation

Combine flour, powdered sugar and egg with a pinch of salt. Cut in 1/2 cup cold, cubed butter then gently knead until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 mins.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F. Roll out dough then use to line a greased 7 x 11 inch loose-bottomed tart pan. Prick base with a fork, cover with a piece of parchment paper, fill with pie weights and bake for 20 mins. Remove beans and bake for another 15 mins. Allow to cool.
Meanwhile, heat cream, add chocolate and remaining butter and cook, stirring, over low heat until chocolate melts. Allow to cool for 10 mins then transfer to tart pan. Top with dried fruit and chopped nuts. Chill for 30 mins before serving.
