Tandoori Lamb Patties With Yogurt Sauce - cooking recipe

2 None small onions, finely chopped
1 lb lean ground lamb
1 tbsp tandoori paste
10.5 oz basmati rice
1 1/4 cups low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
10.5 oz green beans, trimmed
Preparation

Lightly coat a frying pan with oil and place over medium heat. Sweat onions for 3 mins, stirring, until soft. Transfer to a medium mixing bowl and let cool slightly. Add ground lamb and tandoori paste. Season then shape into 12 patties.
Meanwhile, cook rice in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and keep warm.
Oil a frying pan and place over medium heat. Cook lamb patties for 3 mins per side, or until cooked through.
To make the sauce, combine yogurt and cilantro in a small bowl. Season to taste.
Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 mins, until tender but still crisp. Serve lamb patties with rice, beans and yogurt sauce.
