Vegemite Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
    1 tbsp sugar
    3 tbsp butter, chopped
    3/4 cup milk
    2 tbsp Vegemite
    1 1/4 cups coarsely grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease a 12 x 8-inch baking pan.
    Combine the sifted flour and sugar in a medium bowl. Rub in the butter. Stir in the milk and mix to a soft sticky dough.
    Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly until smooth. Roll the dough out between two sheets of floured parchment paper to a 16 x 11-inch rectangle. Spread the Vegemite over the dough and sprinkle with cheese. Starting from a long side, roll the dough up firmly; trim the ends. Using an oiled serrated knife, cut the roll into 12 slices. Place the pinwheels, cut-side up, in a single layer, in the prepared pan.
    Bake for about 30 mins. Serve the pinwheels warm.
