Cardamom-Spiced Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 cup plain flour
    1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp ground cardamom
    1/4 tsp ground cloves
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, chopped
    1 None egg
    1 tsp baking soda
    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 cuo shelled unsalted pistachios, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease 12 x 8-inch baking pan; line bottom and long sides of pan with parchment paper.
    Process flours, sugar, spices and butter until ingredients resemble fine breadcrumbs. Transfer mixture to medium bowl.
    Firmly press 1 1/2 cups of the flour mixture evenly into bottom of prepared pan.
    Combine egg, baking soda and milk in a medium bowl. Add to remaining flour mixture with nuts, mix well with wooden spoon. Pour into pan.
    Bake about 1 hour until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
