Vanilla Cupcakes With Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 None large eggs
    1 2/3 cups self-rising flour
    1/2 cup milk
    None None Frosting and Decoration
    1/2 cup butter
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    2 tbsp milk or water
    None None food coloring
    None None candies, sugared shapes, sprinkles and/or colored shredded coconut, to decorate
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
    Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Mix in flour and milk in batches. Transfer to paper liners and bake for 10-15 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool.
    Meanwhile, to make the frosting, beat butter until creamy. Gradually beat in 1/2 of the powdered sugar and milk. Add remaining powdered sugar and mix until combined. Divide frosting into separate bowls and tint to desired color using food coloring. Spread over cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
