Shrimp And Feta In Garlic Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lbs jumbo shrimp
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic, chopped finely
    1/3 cup dry white wine
    1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
    1/3 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
    2 tbsp chopped oregano
    None None salt and pepper
    1 cup crumbled feta cheese
Preparation
    Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving tails intact.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet on high heat. Cook the onion and garlic, stirring, until soft. Add wine and bring to a boil. Add the undrained tomatoes. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered for about 5 mins, or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in the shrimp, 2 tbsp of the parsley and the oregano. Simmer, uncovered, until the shrimp are just cooked through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Divide the mixture into individual baking dishes or one large dish. Sprinkle the top with feta. Broil until the feta is browned lightly. Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve with crusty bread.
