Spiced Shrimp Skewers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 tsp turmeric
    1/2 tsp paprika
    2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined, with tails intact
    None None Couscous, plain yogurt and mixed salad leaves, to serve
Preparation
    Combine onion, oil, lemon juice, parsley, cilantro, cumin, garlic, turmeric and paprika in a large bowl. Season to taste. Add the shrimp, tossing to coat well. Refrigerate 15 mins to marinate.
    Heat a grill pan on medium-high heat or preheat the grill to medium. Thread shrimp onto metal skewers.
    Cook for 1-2 mins each side, until the shrimp change color and are cooked through. Serve with couscous, yogurt and salad.
