Cheesy Chard And Rutabaga Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb Swiss chard leaves, chopped
    1 large rutabaga, peeled and thinly sliced
    2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    4 None large cloves garlic, thinly sliced

    2 tbsp unsalted butter
    1 1/2 tbsp flour
    1 1/4 cups milk
    2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease a 6-cup baking dish.
    Cook the chard in boiling salted water for 3 mins, until just wilted. Drain well, squeezing to remove excess moisture.
    For the cheese sauce, melt the butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 mins. Remove from the heat and stir in the milk and cheeses. Return to the heat and stir on low until the sauce is smooth and thick. Season to taste. Stir in the chard and pour into the prepared dish.
    Meanwhile, cook the rutabaga in boiling salted water for 4-5 mins, until just tender. Drain. Heat the olive oil and garlic in a large skillet on medium heat, until fragrant. Remove from the heat. Add the rutabaga, gently tossing. Arrange over the chard.
    Bake for 20 mins, until golden.
