Mincemeat Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
    1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
    3 tbsp unsalted butter
    1/2 cup prepared mincemeat
    1/2 cup plus 1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation
    Lightly grease and line an 8-inch square cake pan with foil.
    Place chocolate, condensed milk and butter in a medium saucepan on low heat. Stir for 4-6 mins, until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in mincemeat and 1/2 cup of the almonds.
    Spoon into prepared pan, smoothing top. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 cup almonds. Refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares.
