Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 cup rice flour
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0F. Grease a large baking pan.
    Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until combined. Add large spoonfuls of combined sifted flours, beating after each addition. Press together gently and knead on a floured surface until smooth.
    Divide the dough into 2 portions. Shape the portions into 7-inch rounds. Place the rounds on prepared pan. Score the top into wedges, then prick with a fork. Pinch a decorative edge around the shortbread with floured fingers.
    Bake for about 30 mins. Cool in pan 10 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Cut into wedges.
