Creamy Orecchiette Pasta With Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb orechiette pasta
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 None onion, peeled and finely diced
    2/3 lb frozen peas
    3/4 cup half-and-half
    1 pinch freshly grated nutmeg
    1/4 lb Parmesan cheese, shaved
    1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
Preparation
    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. While it is cooking, heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion for 5 mins. Add the peas and cook for 2 mins. Pour in the half-and-half and bring to a boil. Season with salt, black pepper and the pinch of nutmeg.
    Drain the pasta and stir in the peas. Add the cheese and parsley and toss to combine.
