Penne With Orange-Flavored Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    400 g Penne pasta
    1 None onion, peeled and finely diced
    1 clove garlic, peeled and finely diced
    1 None orange, zested and squeezed
    300 g scallops
    60 g butter
    1 bunch chives, chopped finely
Preparation
    Cook the pasta in a large saucepan according to the package directions.
    Meanwhile, melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and cook for 2 mins per side, turning once. Add the orange juice and zest, onion and garlic, reduce the heat and simmer for 2-3 mins. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cut the remaining butter into small cubes and add them to the scallop mixture; stir until melted. Remove from the heat. Drain the pasta and return it to the saucepan. Fold in the scallop mixture and serve hot, sprinkled with chives.
