Cherry Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18.2 oz) dark chocolate fudge brownie mix
    13 tbsp butter, at room temperature
    8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
    6 oz white chocolate, melted
    None None red food coloring
    3/4 cup fresh pitted sweet cherries, chopped
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with foil. Coat with cooking spray.
    Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Bake for 22 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool. Peel foil from brownie layer. Replace foil and brownie layer in pan.
    Meanwhile, in a mixer, beat 8 tbsp butter on high for 1 min, or until smooth. Add cream cheese and beat for 1 min, or until smooth. Reduce speed to medium and beat in white chocolate. Mix for 1 min. Tint to desired color with red food coloring. Gently fold in cherries. Spread over brownies. Chill for 30 mins.
    In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with remaining butter. Stir until smooth. Pour over cherry mixture. Chill for 30 mins. Lift brownies out of pan with foil and cut into squares. Serve chilled.
