Croque Monsieurs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None large eggs, whisked lightly
    2/3 cup milk
    8 None thick slices white bread
    2 tsp Dijon mustard
    4 None thick slices ham
    4 slices Gruyere cheese
    2 tbsp unsalted butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Mix eggs and milk in a bowl and season. Carefully cut a shallow pocket into one side of 4 bread slices. Spread some mustard in the pocket, then top with ham and cheese and top with another bread slice. Quickly soak both sides of sandwich in egg mixture.
    Heat butter in a frying pan and cook sandwiches, flipping once, until golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan and place on a baking sheet. Bake 10 mins, or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
    Remove from the oven, cut in half and serve hot.
