Apple And Pear Crumble - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    None None FOR THE CRUMBLE
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    1/2 cup flour, sifted
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup flaked coconut
    7 tbsp butter, chopped
    1 tbsp light corn syrup
    None None FOR THE FILLING
    3 None apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
    3 None pears, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
    2 tbsp sugar
    1/2 cup raisins
    None None Ice cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Place a large, deep pie plate on a baking pan.
    For the crumble, combine the oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a medium bowl. Place the butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan on low heat. Stir for 2-3 mins, until melted. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
    For the filling, place the apples, pears and 1/4 cup sugar in a large saucepan on high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 mins, until just tender. Stir in the raisins. Pour into the pie plate. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit.
    Bake for 12-15 mins, until golden. Serve warm with ice cream.
