Rum And Raisin Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup raisins
    2 tbsp rum
    1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
    9 tbsp butter, chopped
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 tbsp corn syrup
    5 oz milk chocolate chips
Preparation
    Lightly grease an 8 inch square cake pan. Line base and sides with parchment paper.
    Place raisins and rum in a small bowl. Set aside 10 mins.
    In a medium saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir over a low heat, until combined. Bring to a boil on high. Reduce heat to low and simmer 8-10 mins, stirring constantly.
    Stir in chocolate chips and raisin mixture, until combined and smooth. Spoon mixture into prepared pan.
    Cool at room temperature 5-6 hours, until firm. Cut into squares to serve.
