Christmas Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups dried mixed fruit
    1 jar (15 oz) fruit mincemeat
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, chopped
    1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
    1 tbsp grated orange peel
    1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 None eggs, lightly beaten
    1 cup flour
    1/4 cup self-rising flour
    1 cup coarsely chopped Brazil nuts
Preparation
    Place dried fruit, fruit mincemeat, butter, sugar, and orange peel and juice in a large saucepan on low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and butter melts. Remove from heat; cool.
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Lightly grease and line a 12 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, extending paper at long sides for handles.
    Stir chocolate chips and egg into fruit mixture. Sift flours over mixture; stir to combine. Spread mixture into prepared pan. Top with nuts.
    Bake for 45-50 mins or until a skewer inserted at center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into squares to serve.
